Sorah Al-'adiyat ( Those That Run ) - Verses Number 11
وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا ( 1 ) 
Per le scalpitanti ansimanti
فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا ( 2 )
che fan sprizzare scintille,
فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا ( 3 )
che caricano al mattino,
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا ( 4 )
che fanno volare la polvere,
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا ( 5 )
che irrompono in mezzo [al nemico].
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ ( 6 )
Invero l’uomo è ingrato verso il suo Signore,
وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ ( 7 )
invero è ben conscio di ciò.
وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ( 8 )
Invero è avido per amore delle ricchezze!
أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ ( 9 )
Non sa che, quando sarà messo sottosopra quello che è nelle tombe
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ ( 10 )
e reso noto quello che è nei petti,
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌ ( 11 )
il loro Signore, in quel Giorno, sarà ben informato su di loro?
